Chippewa Falls, seen here from the top, is one of many waterfalls along the north shore of Lake Superior.
This was the last stop on the drive from Wawa to Sault Ste. Marie, on the journey back to Toronto. I ended up getting here during the early stages of sunset, when it was still light enough to justify exploring further back into the falls along all those rocks. The parking lot for this waterfall is right off the highway; the view from the bottom requires little to no hiking to get to, but this view meant climbing up a rocky forested hill and navigating through many rocks like the ones seen here.
