An empty desert pathway leads through some towering rock formations in the Nevada desert in Valley of Fire State Park, under an overcast and gloomy sky.

This is from a January 2019 vacation, where I enjoyed wandering through this and other desert pathways as they wound through magnificent rock formations that towered above me, etched with the story of time.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - if there's a particular problem I'm trying to program a solution to or some menial task that I'm trying to automate, my head gets really into it trying to figure it out, but that's just what I do to pay the bills.
