Artist's Description
The historic Chisholm Mill, in operation since the mid 1800s, sits by the glassy waters of a river on a beautiful sunny day in Chisholm, Ontario.
This was a random find on a recent weekend getaway. When I'm not in any rush, I prefer to take more scenic routes to my destination, so I try to avoid the major highways and try to take backroads instead. Every now and then, I come across a picturesque gem like this.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - if there's a particular problem I'm trying to program a solution to or some menial task that I'm trying to automate, my head gets really into it trying to figure it out, but that's just what I do to pay the bills.
