Artist's Description
A log rests close to the shore of Lake Ontario in R.K. McMillan Park in Mississauga, against the backdrop of a dramatic sky on a damp and cloudy early-Spring day.
This was taken one lazy Saturday afternoon when I really didn't have anything to do because pretty much everything was closed down due to covid. I ended up going for a bit of a walk in this park and the surrounding area, and was greeted with this scene.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - if there's a particular problem I'm trying to program a solution to or some menial task that I'm trying to automate, my head gets really into it trying to figure it out, but that's just what I do to pay the bills.
