A small stream flows through an Autumn-coloured forest surrounded by fallen red, orange, and yellow leaves near Blue Mountains, Ontario.
I came across this scenic river along a trail just off of Highway 19, a bit south of Blue Mountain. My initial reason for exploring it was to see the ruins of Ostler Castle, which is not really a castle like you might picture from medieval times, but more of a mansion on a hill. Unfortunately, it was in later afternoon, and I didn't know how far into the woods the castle was. With it getting dark earlier in Autumn, I decided maybe I should turn back and visit it another time; I found out later that it was only another kilometre or so. Oh well.
