St. Joseph's Island Bridge crosses St. Mary's river to cover the gap between the Canadian mainland near Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and the island.
A book that I bought during the pandemic called Top 160 Unusual Things to See in Ontario listed Fort St. Joseph, so I figured I'd stop by and see it since I'd be passing right by it. Sort of - I had thought it was just outside of Sault Ste. Marie, but it turned out to be an hour or so drive because it's on the southernmost point of St. Joseph Island. On the way, I passed over this bridge, and passed right by a picnic area that looked like a great place to stop for a picture or two. Of course, I had to turn back.
