A pair of trees frames an empty park bench as a single boat floats on Lake Nipissing during a beautifully colourful sunset in North Bay, Ontario.
I took this photo in June 2022 on a solo road trip I did. During dinner one evening, I was admiring the sunset, and I noticed that there was a park on the way back to the hotel appropriately called Sunset Park. I thought I'd see what it was like in black and white, and I kind of liked the result.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - if there's a particular problem I'm trying to program a solution to or some menial task that I'm trying to automate, my head gets really into it trying to figure it out, but that's just what I do to pay the bills.
