Artist's Description
Sun beams poke their way through the lush green leaves of a tree on the shore of Lake Nipissing during a beautifully colourful sunset in North Bay, Ontario.
This was taken on a road trip around parts of southern Ontario that I did in June 2022. I had finished my day's adventure (or so I had thought), and had stopped at a pub for dinner. As I was sitting there, I was consulting Google Maps just to see what was around the area, and I found Sunset Park just down the street from both the restaurant and the hotel I was staying at. I looked out the window of the restaurant and saw the beginnings of what looked like it might be a gorgeous sunset, so I finished up and headed to this park. I was not disappointed.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere.
