A view of the small town of Gambo, Newfoundland, as seen from Joey's Lookout by the Trans Canada Highway on a beautiful sunny day.

I took this on the journey back to St. John's from Gander. As I was driving along the highway, I passed a lookout, and of course I'm always curious to see exactly what these places look out over. Many of them just sort of creep up on you and you don't always realize they're there until you're passing them, as was the case with this one, so I turned around to go check it out. More beautiful scenery. I hung out here for maybe 15 minutes just admiring it before I got back on the road.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - if there's a particular problem I'm trying to program a solution to or some menial task that I'm trying to automate, my head gets really into it trying to figure it out, but that's just what I do to pay the bills.
